Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Senior Systems Developer to mentor junior developers, guide technical communications with vendors and Operations teams, and keep tech sustainment items current. You will research new technologies, influence roadmaps, and ensure alignment with business goals across complex ERP and enterprise systems.

Qualifications

BS/BA in a related field or equivalent training.
Experience with COTS/SaaS product configurations and maintenance.
Strong fundamentals in software development and architecture.

Responsibilities

Coach and mentor junior developers on techniques and best practices.
Lead end-to-end integration and production support for systems.
Review functional designs to identify risks and obstacles.
Stay ahead of emerging tech and vendor solutions for the team.
Collaborate with Foundational Technology teams on resource alignment.
Develop documentation and training for system enhancements.
Improve tech sustainment processes and reduce technical debt.
Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and vendors.
