Escape Velocity Entertainment seeks an experienced AI/ML Director to lead research, development, and prototyping of AI/ML solutions across our production pipeline. You will oversee ML bot work, evaluate generative AI opportunities, and translate team ideas into actionable plans.

You will mentor teams, collaborate with engineering and game development, and stay current with evolving AI models and tools, guiding strategy and implementation for a globally distributed studio.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading AI/ML teams or projects.
• Strong proficiency in Python and C++ with ML frameworks.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML theory, algorithms, and system design.
• Mentoring mindset and collaborative approach.

Responsabilités

• Oversee ML bot research, development, and implementation.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities to use generative AI across the production pipeline.
• Gather AI-related ideas from teams and convert into actionable plans.
• Drive execution of AI initiatives, prototypes, and workflow improvements.
• Explore and prototype local models trained on internal data.
• Develop guidelines for agentic AI systems and best practices.
• Educate directors and teams on AI capabilities and limitations.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI models, tools, and trends.
