Job summary

StarCompliance, a market-leading regulatory technology provider, seeks a hands-on leader to own data and AI strategy. You will build a high-performing Data & AI function, shipping production-grade AI capabilities at scale within a heavily regulated environment.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, and the executive team to co-own the AI roadmap and ensure delivery outcomes that drive customer value.

Qualifications

• Proven delivery of production-grade AI/ML systems at scale.
• Strong experience with generative AI and LLM-based architectures.
• Knowledge of vector databases and semantic search (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, Azure AI Search).
• Deep background in modern data engineering and large-scale data pipelines.
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services or regtech.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI strategy and product capabilities for the platform.
• Drive adoption of AI/LLM architectures and predictive analytics.
• Build and govern data foundation; enable robust MLOps pipelines.
• Lead and scale a Data & AI organization across multiple disciplines.
• Collaborate with CTO and executive team to align AI initiatives with business priorities.
