Job Summary
The Vice President, Agile Delivery is a strategic executive leader responsible for scaling a product oriented agile ways of working across global product and technology teams. This role leads a distributed organization of Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, and Agile Delivery Managers to drive enterprise agility, foster a high-performing culture, and ensure consistent delivery excellence across regions.
As the global agility leader, this executive will serve as the architect of a scalable, federated agile model, bridging time zones, cultures, and business priorities. The role requires exceptional leadership, cross-cultural fluency, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and geographies.
Key Outcomes And Deliverables
Global Agile Strategy & Transformation
- Define and execute a global vision for agile delivery aligned with enterprise priorities and regional market needs.
- Lead the transformation journey toward enterprise agility, integrating frameworks like SAFe, LeSS, or Spotify model across diverse teams.
- Establish a global agile center of excellence (CoE) to standardize practices, training, and tools.
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a global team of Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, and Delivery Managers.
- Promote talent mobility, skills development, and consistent coaching across geographies.
- Foster inclusive team dynamics that respect cultural differences and empower diverse voices.
Agile Governance & Performance
- Implement enterprise-wide agile metrics and delivery dashboards to drive accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with global product, engineering, and PMO leadership to optimize agile planning, execution, and throughput.
- Ensure scalable delivery operations that adapt to regional business constraints, regulatory requirements, and market variations.
Cross-Functional Influence
- Collaborate with regional business and technology leaders to champion agile mindsets and accelerate digital transformation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives on agile operating models, transformation success metrics, and enterprise change.
- Cultivate global communities of practice and innovation forums that sustain agile maturity and knowledge sharing.
Minimum Qualifications And Experience
- 12+ years in agile delivery, transformation, or enterprise coaching, with at least 5 years in global leadership roles
- Proven experience implementing and scaling agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Disciplined Agile) across international teams
- Strong background in product-centric delivery, lean portfolio management, and agile governance
- Track record of leading distributed teams across multiple time zones and regions
- Executive-level communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Agile certifications such as SAFe SPC, ICAgile, CSP, or PMI-ACP highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field; Master’s degree or international experience is a plus
