Job summary

DoorDash Ads is seeking a data science leader to own the analytics strategy for Restaurants. You will guide a large, multi-level team to drive insights across a two-sided marketplace, optimizing for consumer and merchant outcomes.

In early months you will set priorities, align partners in product, engineering, sales, and strategy, and define the vision for sustainable growth, measurable impact, and scalable analytics that balance ROI with user experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data analytics, consulting, or related field.
• Executive communication to translate data into business impact.
• Hands-on expertise in SQL, A/B testing, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with funnel optimization, user segmentation, and time-series analysis.
• Scrappy, strategic leader able to influence executives under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing analytics team.
• Define and drive analytics and product roadmap with measurable goals.
• Partner with product, engineering, and GTM to uncover insights.
• Apply cohort analysis, regression modeling, and experimentation.
• Balance advertiser ROI, consumer experience, and platform health.
