Mazuma Credit Union is seeking a Vice President of Accounting & Finance to lead the Accounting and Finance Departments, ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. This role partners with the CFO and senior leadership to drive strategy, risk management, and financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in credit union finance, strong leadership abilities, and expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Eight to ten years of accounting/finance experience in financial services.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating across departments.

Aufgaben

• Oversee Accounting Department and GAAP reporting, close processes, and internal controls.
• Lead Finance functions including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Manage regulatory reporting, audits, and exam coordination with regulators and auditors.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership and ALCO.
