Job summary

IUSCA is seeking a Level 6 Academy Strength & Conditioning role in Bethesda, MD, supporting D.C. United Academy players within a long-term development model. You will lead athletic development, deliver targeted sessions, and coordinate GPS, wellness, testing and RPE data.

The position involves travel, match-day prep, and mentoring performance interns and aspiring coaches, under supervision of the Director of Performance.

Qualifications

• No specific S&C certification or degree is required according to the advert; verify with employer.
• Experience delivering strength and conditioning within an academy or similar setting.
• Ability to coordinate GPS, wellness, testing and RPE data for individual planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day athletic-development and physical-performance support for academy players.
• Design and deliver activation, strength, conditioning, recovery and prehabilitation sessions.
• Coordinate GPS, wellness, testing and RPE collection; develop individual goals and programmes.
• Support match-day prep, academy travel and rehabilitation activities; guide interns and assistant coaches.
