Born To Play is seeking a Factory/Production Manager to oversee a bustling 3D printing farm in New York. You will own daily, weekly, and monthly production planning, drive sprint cycles, and lead a diverse team across production, packaging, and quality control to meet deadlines.

You will monitor KPIs, manage inventory and shipments, coordinate with procurement, and uphold a safe, efficient factory environment while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in factory or production management, preferably in a high-tech or additive manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, and workflow optimization.
• Experience with 3D printing technologies is a strong plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet output targets and customer deadlines.
• Lead production sprint planning and ensure priorities are aligned with business needs.
• Monitor factory KPIs and implement corrective actions to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead, train, and supervise production, packaging, inventory, and quality control personnel.
• Oversee inventory of finished goods, work-in-progress inventory, filament, packaging materials, spare parts, and consumables.
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Oversee outbound shipment planning and execution.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized factory environment.
• Maintain production planning workbooks, inventory trackers, KPI dashboards, and operational reporting tools.
• Lead factory-related improvement projects and operational initiatives.
• Monitor throughput, printer utilization, downtime, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, and shipment performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production, inventory, logistics, and facility operations.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement quality control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
