Job summary

ABCorp seeks a Senior Operator to lead the expansion of its 3D/Additive Manufacturing operation in Boston. This role drives productivity, quality control, labor management, and safety, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance in a growing facility.

You will collaborate with the VP of 3D Solutions and management to implement policies, monitor KPIs, manage inventory, and recruit/train staff to sustain high performance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in an operations management role.
• Experience with 3D/Additive Manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of production management and safety requirements.
• Strong delegation, supervision and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, assess job contributions and set expectations.
• Contribute to strategic plans and action plans; resolve issues and trends.
• Develop systems for receiving, inventory, shipping and equipment use.
• Improve processes, layout and space requirements; implement changes.
• Maintain safe, healthy work environment and enforce procedures.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and coach employees; manage vendors.
• Monitor production KPIs and manage inventory planning.
