Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Material Handling to lead the 24/7 GMP material handling operation at our state-of-the-art FleXBatch facility. You will guide Front-Line Managers, ensure safe, compliant material movement, and support the transition to commercial manufacturing.

Qualifications

Doctorate degree with 2+ years of Manufacturing & Operations leadership experience.
Masters degree with 6+ years of Manufacturing & Operations experience.
Bachelors degree with 8+ years of Manufacturing & Operations experience.
Associates degree with 10+ years of Manufacturing & Operations experience.
High School diploma/GED with 12+ years of Manufacturing & Operations experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Material Handling front-line managers and teams.
Oversee 24/7 GMP material handling operations across the facility.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Process Development, and Automation.
Drive end-to-end material flow processes and maintain inventory accuracy.
Own equipment lifecycle management and readiness for start-up and ongoing production.
