Job summary

The Head Nurse will partner with managers and the CNO to ensure safe, high-quality care and to support the hospital's mission and policies. Strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to patient autonomy are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience on current unit or in like setting/specialty area.
• Computer literacy.
• RN; BLS Certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care on a nursing unit and provide clinical leadership to staff.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify opportunities for department improvements and drive change.
• Intervene and guide during life threatening situations and evaluate outcomes.
• Support ongoing learning and professional development among nursing staff.
