Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience on current unit or in a similar setting.
• Active RN license with BLS within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, review, and combine diagnostic data relevant to the patient’s current condition.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and other disciplines to identify opportunities for department improvements and drive change.
• Provide guidance and direction during life threatening situations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and outcomes.
• Implement innovative processes to improve patient outcomes.
• Participate in leadership activities such as coaching, hiring, yearly evaluations, staffing and payroll.
• Participate in activities to improve health care delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate with staff in patient care.
• Support life-long learning.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
