Job summary

Nixa Public Schools seeks a dedicated softball program coordinator to supervise all aspects of the Nixa Youth Softball program and work with high school varsity coaches to blend teaching ideas. The role includes organizing practice plans, leading practices, distributing gear, and stressing safety and proper technique.

You will coordinate with the Activities Director to develop weekly practice schedules and game planning, ensuring smooth operations across practices and games.

Qualifications

• Prior softball coaching experience preferred.
• Understand and support the District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.
• Must pass background check and drug test satisfactory to the Board of Education.

Primary Tasks & Major Activities

Organize practice plans, lead practices, distribute and maintain all gear; stress safety and proper techniques in teaching fundamentals. Supervision in all practices and game supervision before, during and after practices and games. Work with Activities Director and develop weekly practice schedules and game planning.

Educational/Skills/Experience Required

• Prior softball coaching experience preferred.
• Willingness to understand and support the District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test that are satisfactory to the Board of Education.
