Job summary

City of Hope in Newnan, GA seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to deliver inpatient and outpatient oncology and surgical care. You will assess patients, participate in rounds, and develop treatment plans with the supervising physician.

Responsibilities include EMR orders, documentation, consent, and coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care. Oncology incumbents with strong licenses and board certs preferred.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license required.
• Georgia APRN license required.
• National board certification (ANCC or AANP) required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or equivalent within 30 days).
• Oncology specific credentials encouraged (ONS, AOCNP).
• For Physician Assistant track: NCCPA certification and Georgia PA license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient oncology and surgical care.
• Perform patient assessments, histories, exams, and rounds with the supervising physician.
• Manage orders in the EMR and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
• Document thoroughly and obtain informed consent as appropriate.
• Coordinate care across teams and support clinical operations as needed.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and continuing education.
• Participate in onboarding, training, and departmental meetings.
