Job summary

City of Hope in the United States is seeking an Evaluation and Treatment Center Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) on a PRN basis. The APP will work with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive oncology care, including assessments, treatment planning, testing, education, and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Board certification for NP or PA (ANCC/AANP).
• PANCE certification through NCCPA is required for Physician Assistants.
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) and CME hours ongoing.
• Continuing medical education and professional certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and manage treatment-related symptoms.
• Provide patient and family education and coordinate care.
• Enter and manage orders in the EMR following regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation (H&Ps, consults, follow-ups).
• Coordinate overall patient care and improve patient flow.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals.
• Participate in training, meetings, and leadership activities.
