Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Nurse Navigator for Head & Neck Cancer services at Luckow Pavilion. The role coordinates education, resources, and care options, serving as a liaison among physicians, patients, families, and external care partners to facilitate timely treatment and high-quality outcomes.

The position requires a BSN and NJ RN license, with a preference for a Master's in Nursing and Oncology Certification.

Qualifications

• BSN required; NJ RN license active.
• Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• OCN certification preferred upon hire or within 1 year of employment.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• 1 year of head and neck oncology experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex care across the continuum for head and neck cancer patients.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and available resources.
• Engage multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to remove barriers to care.
• Advocate for patient-centered, high-quality care and timely access to services.
