Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. seeks an Athletic Coach for the Pleasantville Middle School athletics program. The role supports student-athletes in skill development, sportsmanship, and motivation. Requires NJ teaching certification eligibility, good health, and strong English communication.

The position is part-time with a stipend and entails planning practices, supervising games, and coordinating with the athletic director. Residency in NJ and background checks are required.

Formación

• Valid New Jersey instructional certificate or eligibility or county substitute certificate.
• Minimum experience as determined by the board.
• Knowledge of sport, training, conditioning, injury prevention and development.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment and high standards of conduct for athletes.
• Be in good physical health and able to perform duties.
• Demonstrate integrity and good moral character.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must reside in New Jersey or within required residency waiver.
• Must communicate effectively in English, written and spoken.
• Provide evidence of U.S. citizenship or legal status and pass background checks as required.
• Pass Mantoux TB test as required.
• Meet alternatives as determined by the Superintendent.

Responsabilidades

• Coach individual participants in the skills necessary for success in the sport involved.
• Enforce team rules and promote good sportsmanship.
• Comply with emergency medical procedures for all sessions.
• Verify eligibility of team members.
• Plan and schedule regular practice programs and attend contests.
• Oversee safety conditions of facilities at all times.
• Manage team equipment during practice and contests.
• Assist in arrangements for competitions and transportation.
• Recommend equipment, supplies and uniforms as appropriate.
• Obtain written parent permission and file team records.
• Assist in budget preparation and enforce school rules and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
