Job summary

Edgewood University in Madison, WI is seeking a Head Men’s Volleyball Coach to lead all aspects of the NCAA Division III program, including recruiting, coaching, development, budgeting, and compliance.

The successful candidate will build on the program’s foundation, foster an inclusive, competitive culture, support student-athlete academics and personal growth, and collaborate with campus partners to promote the Athletics mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Collegiate coaching and/or recruiting experience required.
• Ability to recruit, develop, and retain student-athletes.
• Commitment to NCAA Division III philosophy and student-athlete development.
• Experience with recruiting software, CRM systems, and video analysis platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the Men’s Volleyball program in alignment with Edgewood University mission.
• Develop a team culture centered on accountability, respect, teamwork, and competitive excellence.
• Plan, organize, and conduct practices, meetings, conditioning, and competitions.
• Teach technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of volleyball.
• Support academics and personal development of student-athletes.
• Collaborate with campus partners to support student-athlete well-being and success.
• Manage program budgeting, scheduling, travel, equipment, and game-day operations.
