Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is looking for an ACHA DII Head Men’s Hockey Coach to oversee student-athlete development at Aurora University. Responsibilities include recruiting, managing team operations, ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations, and coaching student-athletes. A Bachelor’s Degree and four years of relevant experience are required. The position offers flexible hours, totaling an expected 20 hours per week, with a compensation of $15,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience supervising staff.
• Ability to interact verbally in person, over the telephone, and via written and electronic media.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the ACHA DII program including recruiting and coaching student-athletes.
• Supervises Assistant Coaches and ensures compliance with all applicable rules.
• Recruits and retains quality student-athletes and works with admissions to meet squad size goals.
