Job summary

The Kinsa Group is assisting a Sheridan, Wyoming meat processing operation in finding a Head Meat Cutter / General Manager. This onsite role leads daily production, oversees beef fabrication, and ensures top quality from rail to packaging while maintaining strong customer service and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in meat processing, beef fabrication, or butchery operations.
• Beef fabrication from rail to finished cuts experience.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with custom processing or wild game is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~10 personnel and drive daily operations.
• Oversee beef fabrication from rail to final packaging.
• Manage daily production, processing ~5 head of cattle per day.
• Coordinate custom cutting and customer packaging specs.
• Oversee seasonal wild game processing and quality control.
• Support smoked meats and other specialty products.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Optimize workflow, staffing, and scheduling for efficiency.
• Monitor equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Partner with ownership to identify improvements and growth.
