Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Chief Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia to oversee hotel maintenance operations, ensuring refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and energy controls function efficiently while guest satisfaction remains high.

You will manage maintenance staff and contractors, coordinate with Housekeeping and Security, handle budgeting and inventory, and lead safety training and compliance to maintain top hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance management.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, and energy controls.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance staff and contractors, including hiring, training, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times.
• Supervise maintenance operations, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, A/C units, lighting, and fire/life safety systems.
• Monitor and manage energy consumption for efficiency.
• Oversee contracted services to meet hotel standards and guest expectations.
• Supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, evaluations, and scheduling.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all maintenance projects.
