Job summary

Stonebridge Companies in New York, NY seeks an Assistant Chief Engineer to lead hotel maintenance operations and supervise the maintenance staff. You will manage refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and energy controls, ensuring projects meet standards and deadlines to maintain guest satisfaction.

You will support the Chief Engineer, oversee inventory, work with contractors, and coordinate with Housekeeping and Security. Evening/weekend availability may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years in hotel engineering or maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and energy controls.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff and coordinating projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance operations across hotel systems and staff.
• Oversee refrigeration, heating, A/C units, emergency generators, and plumbing.
• Monitor energy consumption and manage resources efficiently.
• Maintain inventories and supervisor contracted services on-site.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Security and support scheduling.
