Job summary

Port Angeles High School is seeking a Head Girls Golf Coach for the spring season. The Head Coach will oversee all aspects of the girls golf program, including skill development, course management, match preparation, and program administration for Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.

The successful candidate must coordinate practice times with the Boys Head Golf Coach, arrange transportation, and manage travel and logistics, with weekday commitments and occasional Saturday events from March 1

Qualifications

• Experience coaching/golf preferred.
• Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and course strategy.
• Ability to plan effective practice sessions and swing instruction.
• Strong communication with athletes, parents, and staff.
• Must drive district vans and have valid license/clearance.
• Must meet WIAA coaching certification requirements and safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the girls golf program for varsity and junior varsity.
• Coordinate practice times, facilities, and travel with Boys Head Golf Coach.
• Develop players’ skills, organize matches, and manage program logistics.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality, and compliance with district policies.
