Position: Head Custodian - 1st shift - Warren Community School

Certification: Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)

Qualifications:

Reports to: Facilitates director and business manager

Essential Functions:

  • Read, understand, and follow policies and procedures
  • Operate custodial equipment
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and working on feet for long periods
  • Plan, schedule, supervise, and evaluate custodial staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the building and perimeter
  • Perform minor repairs and monitor building systems (heating, roofing, lighting, plumbing)
  • Manage supplies within budget
  • Ensure building security and safety features
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures
  • Arrive and depart punctually, report absences
  • Demonstrate dependability, integrity, and loyalty
  • Follow administrative procedures and handle program concerns

Terms of Employment: As per Collective Bargaining Agreement

Evaluation: Annual performance review by the facilities director

Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week, with potential overtime
