Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Head Cook located in Henrico, VA. The Head Cook will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, preparing and cooking meals, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining inventory and supplies. The Head Cook will also plan menus, control food costs, and ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills, with experience in cooking and food preparation
• Leadership and management skills to oversee kitchen staff and operations
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Menu planning and inventory management skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Culinary certification or degree is a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
