Job summary

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ invites applications for Head Coach, Wrestling. You will provide visionary leadership, instruct techniques, oversee the program, schedule contests, coordinate travel, recruiting, and supervision of assistants.

Lead budget development, ensure NAIA compliance, collaborate with medical staff, and promote fundraising; recruit and retain student-athletes while representing ERAU at regional and national events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (required).
• Knowledge of wrestling techniques and coaching philosophy.
• Knowledge and understanding of NAIA rules.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• 3–5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Instruct wrestling techniques and philosophy to student-athletes.
• Administer all facets of the men's wrestling program, including practices, travel, housing, meals, uniforms and equipment.
• Develop, implement and manage team budget; ensure academic/athletic eligibility per NAIA rules.
• Actively recruit and retain qualified incoming student-athletes for men's wrestling.
• Promote the program and pursue fundraising opportunities outside university budget.
• Represent ERAU at NAIA regional/national meetings and assist with related administrative duties.
