Job summary

24 Hour Fitness in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Head Coach to create a healthier, happier world by delivering exceptional fitness experiences for clients and coaches. You will focus on member retention, client acquisition, and supporting the club's Fitness Coach Team, acting as a player coach to onboard and hire new Coaches.

Expect 60% time in personal training and 40% in onboarding, training and supporting staff.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a Personal Trainer or Fitness Coach.
• Holistic Fitness Program Design And Consultation Experience Required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work 30+ hours weekly and be open to weekends/holidays.
• Ability to adjust and operate fitness equipment.
• Ability to perform a variety of exercise routines.
• Excellent customer service skills; respond to guests, members, staff.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and AED certifications required.
• Degree in a related field or current certification through at least one nationally accredited industry associations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive fitness programs based on clients' goals that include appropriate exercise selections, programs that include varied fitness offerings, general nutrition guidelines and teaching a fitness lifestyle.
• Mentor Coach performance through behavior observation and training.
• Support onboarding and training of new coaches.
• Assist in interviewing and hiring coaches.
• Support goal setting, scheduling and coach performance.
• Build and generate a strong fitness business through new client acquisition and retention.
• Set expectations and hold clients accountable to their comprehensive fitness programs.
• Demonstrate safe and proper exercise techniques.
• Be punctual, prepared and enthusiastic for trainings and sessions.
• Meet productivity expectations servicing clients and group sessions.
• Maintain progress records for personal training clients.
• Assist in member service activities and deliver positive fitness experiences.
