Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Tucson is seeking a Head Coach to lead the coaching team, drive member engagement, and support studio performance. You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, development, performance management, and retention while upholding Orangetheory coaching standards.

As the primary fitness subject matter expert, you will deliver an exceptional member experience, lead by example, coach 15+ classes weekly, and collaborate with Studio Managers to meet retention and revenue

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or multi-unit environments.
• 1+ year of group fitness coaching and/or personal training experience required (or equivalent).
• Current Orangetheory Fitness-approved fitness certification; CPR/AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of 15 Orangetheory Fitness classes per week and deliver an exceptional member experience.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to the coaching team.
• Conduct regular class observations and coaching conversations to provide feedback and development.
• Assist with coach recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and retention efforts.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
• Partner with Studio Managers and regional leadership to support studio goals and retention.
• Champion a member-first mindset and ensure consistent Orangetheory Fitness delivery.
• Support implementation of new programs and operational changes within the studio.
