Job summary

Paterson Public School District seeks a Head Coach - Strength and Conditioning for East Side High School in Paterson, NJ. This part-time role runs during the fall sports season with a stipend rather than salary.

Starting immediately, the position requires a NJ teacher or substitute certificate, CPR/AED certification, and annual completion of first aid and safety trainings. Open postings last ten days unless filled.

Qualifications

Must be available daily during the fall sports season.
Must be certified in CPR and AED, and holding a current certificate in both.
Must obtain a "Concussion Awareness and Wellness" certificate or its equivalent, renewed annually.
Must Obtain a "Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness" certificate or it's equivalent, renewed annually.
All new coaches will have one year after being hired to successfully complete a course in "Sports First Aid".
