Paterson Public School District 307 KENNEDY HIGH SCHOOL in Paterson, New Jersey is seeking a Head Coach Softball for the spring season. Position is part-time with a stipend.

Starting immediately; season dates March 9, 2027 to June 14, 2027. Must hold NJ teacher or substitute certificate, CPR/AED, concussion and heat acclimation certificates, and complete Sports First Aid within a year.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Teacher's Certificate OR Substitute Teacher Certificate; proof of experience required for substitute certificate holder
• Coaching experience preferred, but not required
• Must be available daily during the springsports season
• Must be certified in CPR and AED, and holding a current certificate in both
• Must obtain a "Concussion Awareness and Wellness" certificate or its equivalent, renewed annually
• Must Obtain a "Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness" certificate or it's equivalent, renewed annually
• All new coaches will have one year after being hired to successfully complete a course in "Sports First Aid"
• Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
• Pending budget availability
• All posting are open for ten (10) consecutive days following the date posted on the Paterson Public Schools website
