Responsibilities

• Teach all aspects of the sport through fundamentals in daily practice sessions.
• Recruit and maintain an active team roster for the team to develop a competitive team.
• Develop and evaluate each athlete’s performance.
• Conduct and supervise all practices.
• Schedule and attend all contests.
• Supervise the proper use of equipment and technique for the sport.
• Participate in special events such as banquets, pep rallies, and senior/award nights.
• Distribute uniforms and equipment to student athletes as instructed by the head coach.
• Attend professional development events to improve coaching skills.
• Ensure nondiscriminatory practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach, or Athletic Director/Principal.
