Job summary

The New Bedford Public Schools are seeking an Assistant Coach for Girls Soccer to support the head coach with practices, games, and travel. You will help plan strategies and educate players on the rules and safe play.

Applicants should have prior experience as an assistant coach, a solid understanding of the game, and the ability to supervise student athletes, ensuring nondiscriminatory practices and positive development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an assistant soccer coach or related participation in the sport.
• Thorough knowledge of the game and current coaching techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head athletic coach with student athlete supervision during practices, games, and event-related travel.
