Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age, or older
• Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English.
• Completed and submitted BVSD online application.
• At least 3 years of coaching experience.
• Knowledge of all aspects of school athletic/activity programming.
• Proven leadership qualities and successful experience in working with middle school students.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of all boys basketball teams.
• Development of expectations and direction of the IS basketball program
• Tracking of eligibility and academic progress of students.
• Preparation of team for competition.
• Teaching fundamental skills.
• Communication with parents, players, staff, etc.
• Following school district regulations and policies
