Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a senior Clinical Pharmacology Scientist to conceive and execute innovative PK/PD research supporting global clinical programs. You will lead PK strategies, evaluate regulatory advances, and integrate this knowledge into development plans.

The role requires collaboration with CPPM teams, external partners, and cross‑functional stakeholders to advance Phase 1–4 trials and publications in scientific forums.

Qualifications

• PhD or PharmD with PK/PD, pharmacometrics or systems pharmacology experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Ability to interact externally and internally in cross-functional settings.
• Demonstrates scientific acumen and strong technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Phase 1–4 studies including design and pharmacology strategy.
• Author regulatory documents: protocols, study reports, PK/PD analyses and related materials.
• Conduct data analyses: non‑compartmental, modeling and simulations.
• Participate and present at cross‑functional teams and leadership meetings.
• Collaborate with Clinical Pharmacology groups for unified positions to regulatory teams.
• Author publications and present at conferences.
