Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service is seeking a classically trained Chef to design and execute fresh, from-scratch weekly menus with input from clients and management. Lead kitchen staff, ensure top-quality meals with outstanding presentation, and maintain sanitation in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to culinary standards, and proactive communication with management. Very light late-night/weekend expectations, with holidays and vacations offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in professional, high-volume food production or catering.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Culinary degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, design, and execute menus.
• Lead and train kitchen staff; manage schedules and performance with management’s approval.
• Maintain sanitation and uphold food safety standards per regulations.
• Ensure timely kitchen operations and high-quality meal presentation.
• Communicate with management via calls, emails, and texts; coordinate with client and chapter.
