Job summary

Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa in Bretton Woods, NH, seeks a Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary operation across the resort, working with the Executive Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences within budget. You will supervise kitchen staff, manage inventory, ensure sanitation and portion control, and drive menu development while maintaining five-star presentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in a first class hotel/resort or restaurant.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the kitchen and oversee food preparation and presentation.
• Assist in staffing for all kitchen areas and supervise employees.
• Maintain adequate supply of food items and manage inventory.
• Ensure sanitation standards and proper storage of all items.
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef on menu and cost control where changes are warranted.
• Ensure timely service and high-quality plating.
• Provide training programs for kitchen personnel.
• Attend monthly departmental meetings.
