Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks a Chef de Cuisine in New Orleans, LA to lead a high-volume, upscale operation. The role focuses on innovative menu development, team development, and strong financial stewardship in a premier restaurant group.

The candidate will partner with the Executive team to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional food quality, and maintain top-tier standards of cleanliness and presentation. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing a high-volume, upscale, or fine dining environment.
• Experience with inventory control, costing, and scheduling.
• Experience managing a restaurant with a volume of $7 million or more.
• No more than two jobs in the past five years.
• Ability to partner with the Executive team to manage daily restaurant operations.
• Commitment to training and developing a team of cooks into future leaders.
• Strong polish and professionalism.
• Upholding high standards of cleanliness and food presentation.
