Michelin-starred restaurant group seeks a Head Chef for our omakase-style, live-fire Steakhouse. The restaurant will have a Chef's counter with 20 seats, and will also feature a small à la carte menu available in the cocktail bar.
Due to the intimate nature of our restaurant, the chef must work in a particularly clean and organized manner. You will be directly interacting and serving guests at the counter. The Head Chef will manage the kitchen team and work closely with the executive chef to curate a seasonal menu with a focus on Japanese technique and ingredients. Previous Japanese cuisine experience is not necessary, but a respect for Japanese cuisine and a desire to learn are essential.
This is a full-time position with services 5 days a week.
