Job description

Position Purpose

The Head Cheer Coach supports learning by overseeing the student‑development efforts for the university’s athletic department and assists in the day‑to‑day operations of the department’s athletic events.

Essential Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years coaching.

Work Hours

This position is allotted 333 hours for the 2026–27 academic year, and time entry is required. The position is scheduled for 13 hours per week from September 15, 2026, through December 11, 2026, and 11 hours per week from January 27, 2027, through May 10, 2027.

Special Requirements

• A valid driver's license and driving record which meets institutional requirements is required.
• Requires travel between campus locations or to attend off‑site meetings.

Compensation

The compensation for this position is a $5,000 stipend.
