Overview

Head Cashiers greet and thank every customer entering and leaving the store. They must be proficient in all aspects of the Cavender's Boot City cashiering system and knowledgeable of all related paperwork. Responsibilities also include keeping the store tidy, answering phones professionally, and supporting management with tasks like stocking, visual displays, and basic housekeeping.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the "Cavender's Culture" and promote our Mission, Vision, and Values
• Perform cashiering tasks accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area
• Be knowledgeable about CBC policies and cashiering transactions (cash sales, check sales, non-taxable sales, credit cards, voids, exchanges)
• Enter all sales and cash in the register promptly
• Assist with stocking merchandise and store organization
• Promote add-on purchases and store specials
• Arrive promptly, groomed, and dressed appropriately
• Remain security conscious at all times
• Respond knowledgeably to phone inquiries about sales, promotions, and inventory
• Stay updated on sales promotions and inventory control, especially boots
• Follow company policies on all sales, including validating sales tickets
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet company goals (e.g., ADS, UPTs, vendor promotions)

Qualifications and Requirements
