Head Cashiers greet and thank every customer entering and leaving the store. They must be proficient in all aspects of the Cavender's Boot City cashiering system and knowledgeable about all related paperwork. Responsibilities also include maintaining store cleanliness, answering phones professionally, and supporting management with tasks like stocking, visual displays, and handling special orders.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the company's culture and core values
2. Performing cashiering tasks accurately and efficiently
3. Maintaining a neat and organized work environment
4. Understanding and applying store policies and procedures
5. Handling various transactions such as cash, check, credit, voids, and exchanges
6. Entering sales and cash accurately at the register
7. Assisting with stocking and store organization
8. Promoting store specials and add-on sales
9. Being security conscious at all times
10. Responding knowledgeably to phone inquiries about sales, promotions, and store information
11. Staying updated on sales promotions and inventory, especially boots
12. Following company policies on sales and validating sales tickets
13. Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned
14. Collaborating with supervisors to meet company goals
