Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service by proactively visiting registers and supporting Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist with customer assistance issues at the register.
• Assign store sweeps, monitor cash register supplies, and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Maintain security visibility at exit doors to prevent loss.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Participate in hiring, training, and disciplinary actions for Cashiers.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, and positive attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs., and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficient in cash handling, reading, writing, and math skills.
