Job Summary: The Lead Cashier is responsible for handling cash and electronic transactions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
• No experience necessary; on-the-job training provided

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of customer service or similar experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Oversee cashier team to ensure proper work completion
• Manage cash transactions and ensure accuracy
• Train new staff on Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Count cash drawers with previous shift lead for accuracy
• Monitor cash drops and change needs hourly
• Provide customer service, conduct money audits, check supplies, and verify paperwork
• Maintain quality service, customer satisfaction, cleanliness, and safety

This role is suitable for individuals entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. ABM is veteran-friendly; military experience is encouraged. Military Occupational Specialty Codes: 36B, LS, 3432, 6F0X1.
