Job summary

Native Roots is seeking a Head Budtender in Denver to elevate the retail cannabis experience. You will lead friendly customer service, support store operations, and ensure compliance with MED regulations while modeling company standards.

You will assist with opening/closing, cash handling, inventory, and staff guidance, while educating customers on products and wellness benefits. Availability is required with in-person shifts; MED badge current or pending preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of customer service or sales experience.
• At least 6 months experience using METRC.
• Experience with retail POS systems.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Support recreational and medical cannabis sales operations and staff.
• Assist with daily store opening/closing procedures.
• Drive sales goals through daily operations.
• Provide escalated customer guidance and resolve complaints.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and state regulations.
• Manage cash verifications and recordings.
• Assist with deliveries, transfers, and inventory.
• Greet customers and advise on wellness needs.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and effects.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize inventory.
