Job summary

Reuben’s Brews in Seattle is seeking an experienced Head Brewer to lead day-to-day brewing and cellar operations under the Head of Production and Quality, owning the master production schedule and optimizing brewhouse efficiency.

You’ll maintain a strong floor presence, lead a small team, manage EKOS ERP processes, and collaborate with production leadership to execute plans while developing processes and ensuring consistent quality across our 24k–35k bbl/year output.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a brewing/production team in a mid-sized brewery.
• Strong ability to develop and implement SOPs and training.
• Proven track record of delivering on production schedules with quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead brew/cellar team to execute the production plan on the floor.
• Maintain active floor presence in the brewhouse and cellar.
• Own all aspects of brewing and cellar operations.
• Train Production Operators using SOPs and update SOPs as needed.
• Troubleshoot production issues and schedule conflicts.
• Plan and conduct production maintenance as required.
• Coordinate with other production managers on plans.
• Write and manage labor schedules.
• Manage EKOS ERP processes and reporting.
• Communicate the next day’s plan at day’s end.
