Job summary

Bourbon County Middle School in Paris, Kentucky is seeking a Head Baseball Coach to lead both boys' and girls' programs. The role involves directing practice, game planning, and mentoring student-athletes within a comprehensive athletic department.

The coach will work under the Athletic Director and Principal, ensuring compliance with KHSAA guidelines, coordinating schedules, and fostering sportsmanship and personal development among players. Immediate start date preferred.

Qualifications

• KHSAA Level I or II Coach per guidelines.
• Ability to organize and supervise a sports team.
• Previous playing and/or coaching experience (college level preferred).
• CPR Certification (every 2 years).
• Rules Clinic (yearly).
• Medical Symposium (every 2 years).
• Coaches Certification

Responsibilities

• Report to Athletic Director and Principal.
• Supervise head and assistant coaches in conjunction with the Athletic Director and Principal.
• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training.
• Coordinate administrative duties for scheduling, transportation and eligibility.
• Maintain equipment, budget and inventory within the program.
• Promote public relations and fundraising activities for the program.
• Ensure student-athlete grades and conduct are monitored.
