Qualifications

• Level I or Level II Coach (KHSAA guidelines).
• Ability to organize and supervise a sports team.
• Playing and/or coaching experience (college level preferred).
• CPR Certification (every 2 years).
• Rules Clinic (yearly).
• Medical Symposium (every 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and conditioning for individual and team success.
• Supervise and coordinate head and assistant coaches with the athletic director/principal oversight.
• Ensure adherence to athletic policies and proper administrative lines of command.
• Maintain discipline, supervise staff, and evaluate assistant coaches.
• Handle public relations and organize pre-season meetings with parents and players.
• Assist with scheduling, transportation, and facility time for events.
