Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; NJCAA/NCAA rules knowledge
• Minimum three years college baseball coaching experience
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work weekdays, evenings, and holidays
• Essential knowledge of NJCAA and NCAA rules

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of baseball and communicate rules to the team
• Lead and supervise the baseball program with strong leadership
• Collaborate with student-athletes, athletic department staff, and Shelton State faculty
• Recruit and sign top student‑athletes to represent Shelton State
• Manage budgets, schedules, travel, and required reports to athletic department and NJCAA/ACCC
• Maintain facilities and equipment inventory; ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain training records and effective communications with parents and recruiters
• Establish relationships with community leaders and other divisions to enhance operations
