Job description

Seamore's is opening a space in The Hungry Pearl food hall downtown, and we're looking for a service-minded head bartender to complete its leadership team.

This position will be the sole FOH team member during the opening process. As business grows, so will the team.

This role is perfect for someone with bar management experience in fast casual dining restaurants who wants to work somewhere that's actually fun and take on more responsibility.

The ideal candidate will bring a tangible joy to work every day. Having an eagle eye for what guests need and being able to whip up drinks while utilizing the POS and managing guests is essential.

The core of our operation is built on strong fundamentals and an unwavering commitment to giving our guests an outstanding experience.

Requirements and responsibilities:
  1. Reports to upper level management. Manages the bar during service.
  2. Communicates, coordinates, and cooperates with all FOH and BOH crew members.
  3. Interacts with the restaurant guests, suppliers, and members of the community with an upbeat personality.
  4. Monitors the inventory of bar-related goods.
  5. Effectively communicates and works closely with the GM and all crew members.
  6. Builds relationships with the guests and handles guest complaints efficiently.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of restaurant service experience as a bartender.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Experience using Clover is a plus.
  • NYC Food Handlers Certification is a plus.
  • TIPS Certification is a plus.
