Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a baker in a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and equipment.
• Creativity in developing new recipes while also adhering to traditional methods.
• Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with staff members and management.
• High attention to detail for quality control purposes.
• Biometric passport preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the bakery's production including mixing, proofing, baking and decorating.
• Train and supervise a team of bakers ensuring they follow recipes and maintain quality standards.
• Develop new recipes and update existing ones to keep our menu appealing to customers.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment according to health codes.
